About DNB CET 2016:
DNB CET 2016 will be held for as many 748 seats in 30 major of higher studies in medical specialty courses. DNB CET is eligible to be considered for specialist’s post/faculty in any Hospital including a training institution or university on a teaching post as a faculty member. Diplomat National Board ( DNBCET) qualifications are well recognized and acknowledged as high standard specialist qualifications.
DNB CET 2016 Exam Pattern: The DNB CET 2016 entrance exam was a computer based test. The online questions booklet of DNB CET 2016 will be as per the syllabus as prescribed by the examination authority. The questions will be from subjects taught during the MBBS course including subjects like pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical. DNB CET 2016 will consist of 300 Multiple Choice Questions.

Candidates can fill the DNB CET 2016 application form in online mode. The DNB CET 2016 application procedure for January session has been over. DNB CET 2016 Eligibility:
DNB CET applicants should have completed their MBBS 2016 degree and obtained registration from Medical Council of India after completion of their compulsory rotating internship, Candidates are eligible for DNB CET 2016. The eligibility criteria of DNB CET 2016 for January and July session are given below:
- Candidate should possess a MBBS degree from a recognized university by Medical Council of India if they are aspiring for admission in DNB CET 2016
- For January Session: Candidate should have completed their 12 Months rotating internship/practical training on or before Jan31, 2016 only if they are applying for DNB CET 2016 for January session
- For July Session: Candidate should have completed the required 12 Months rotating internship/practical training on or before July 31.
- Candidates who have been going through their internship after the above mentioned date are not eligible for appearing in DNB CET 2016 Exam.
- All the Candidates who are already pursuing a DNB CET course are not eligible to appear for the DNB CET 2016 till they have finished the entire duration of the prescribed course.
DNB CET 2016 Cut off:
DNB CET cut off score is the qualifying marks as prescribed by examination authority which candidates must score to qualify the entrance test. The DNB CET 2016 cut off depends on availability of seats, number of applicants, and difficulty level in the entrance examination. According to officials, the qualifying mark of DNB CET 2016 2016 is 50% marks for general category, 40% for SC, ST and OBC category and 45% for candidates with Persons with Disability. DNB CET 2016 Merit List: The merit list of merit list for admission to Post Graduate courses including Direct 6 year’s course in the super specialty to will be based on the candidates score in the DNB CET 2016 entrance exam. DNB CET 2016 merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. The minimum qualifying marks of DNB CET 2016 for different categories are given below:

DNB CET 2016 Counselling:
Those Candidates who have qualified DNB CET 2016 and fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to DNB Broad Specialty including Direct 6 Years courses (at various NBE accredited Medical colleges/Institutions/Hospitals in India can participate in the DNB CET 2016 counselling for allocation of seats purely on merit cum choice basis. The candidate should not appear for DNB CET 2016 counselling in-person at NBE office Delhi to opt out for further round of counselling. Candidate may access NBE website to use the facility of opting out for further rounds of DNB CET 2016 counselling. These candidates will not be marked as absentee and will be given the opportunity to participate in further round of DNB CET 2016 counselling.
